Applications will be invited once annually following a public advertisement through the local press and will be promoted on the Trust’s Website.   A public advertisement for each program year will be placed in the local press.  Applicants will be given 30 calendar days to submit a letter of intent. Letters of intent that are aligned with the vision and mission of the Trust as stated in the Policy document will be invited to a bidder’s conference where an application packet complete with guidelines will be disseminated.  Applicants will be given 60 calendar days to submit their final applications. The Trust will make funding decisions within 45 calendar days and notifications will be made via email and postal service. Groups may apply to more than one category and a separate application form should be completed for each grant requested.

Application Forms will be available from the Belize Natural Energy Trust offices at 3401 Mountain View Blvd. Belmopan City, Cayo District or can be emailed. Trust staff will be available to advise groups on the completion of their Application Forms by appointment.

Funds must be used for those activities specified in the application. If an organization finds it necessary to deviate from the original activities proposed, they must seek approval from BNET in writing.
